it is a celebration of love, the dial features cupid about to launch an arrow above his quiver and below the dial is a charming scene of a couple in a country landscape.

The dial is complete with original finely fretted gilt brass hands and a glazed hobnail bezel. The rear door is also glazed to allow the movement to be seen.
The French movement is by Japy Frères and is of the company's usual high quality. On the back plate is the Japy Frères mark along with that of the Paris retailer DC & Co. It is in excellent clean and running condition and has been thoroughly tested. Pendulum is a original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Condition of the case is very, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with some wear on the high spots. The porcelain is also in very good condition with no damage, some slight wear to the over-glaze gilt decoration and some of jewel half-hour markers missing. A lovelu clock to add to your collection.
