A 1920s Record Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Record full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.1mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with a plastic lens which is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark. The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
