1900 - 1920
Description

An Oak Arts & Crafts Period Scottish School wardrobe. The plain stepped moulded cornice above the twin breakfront central doors with stylised pewter panels with Arts and Crafts Roundels below and ripple moulding. The doors have typical Arts & Crafts heart shaped handles and open to reveal a brass hanging rail. Each end of the wardrobe having a Charles Rennie Machintosh inspired leaded glass panel and enclosing shelved interiors, again with ripple moulding. Supported on an oak stepped plinth, possibly Scottish circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 86" wide x 78" high x 23" deep centre (19" deep at the ends)

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed Liberty label on the back from a past sale at Liberty's in London
