Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

Description

Pair of antique Swedish Satin Birch armchairs with Trafalgar backs & sabre legs. They are Empire style or some people would call them Biedermeier & they date from around the 1880-90's period. The back splats & the bottom of the arms are ebonized. There is also some fine inlay along the fronts. These chairs are very elegant & have generous proportions. They are in excellent condition & the seats have just been re-upholstered.
