Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

The Chandelier has a circular brass frame, decorated with pressed glass petals at the top and on the lower tier, there are icicle drops crowning the long tent, which leads down to the basket and more icicle drops at the bottom. The “Grand Luster” hangs from a sturdy brass chain with a heavy brass ceiling rose

The Chandelier is one of 4 which were made for a Chateau, the Chateau is undergoing extensive restoration, 3 of the chandeliers have gone to a Paris Hotel and we were lucky enough to get hold of this one before it too went off to the French Capital.

The Chandelier is working and ready to use but it will need professional fitting and fixing it is very heavy
The Chandelier is 70” in total height, it is 28” in Diameter and it is 48” high without the chain
