Unusual 19th. Century Black Forest carved treen inkstand. Crested with a hinged game bird which opens to a storage area for pens paper clips etc. and flanked on either side with fitted glass inkwells which have foliate covers. The borders decorated with carved foliage and flower heads and the whole in excellent condition. Sizes :- Height...7.25''/ 18cm. Width...14''/ 35.5cm. Depth...7.25''/ 18cm.
