Charming Little Antique Dome Top Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming little antique pine dome shaped chest with original carrying handles and brass knob to the lid.

Dating from the 1900's, you'll find the original candle box inside which is typical of chests of this age. All in very nice condition throughout.

This particular chest is of a smaller size so would be ideal in a child's room used as a toy chest or used as a shoe store in a hallway. Originally these chest's would have stored linen and blankets and are still used for that today. They look very nice at the end of one's bed.

Recently stripped to the bare wood now ready for waxing or painting.
