A Charming Edwardian Silver Cream Jug & Sugar Bowl.

Description

A charming matching set of cream jug and sugar bowl. Perfect for afternoon tea or dessert, these delightful pieces would make a lovely gift idea. Each one has matching hallmarks, wonderful Art Deco design handles, pedestal feet and date from the mid Edwardian period. There are no monograms.

Condition :- Very good, with no splits or holes. There is a slight ripple to the foot of the sugar bowl - commensurate with age and use.

Date :- London 1907.

Hallmarks :- Clear, readable and matching - slight loss to makers mark on cream jug.

Maker :- Charles Boyton & Son Ltd.

Jug height :- 4.5 cms. (to top of lip).

Jug diameter :- 5.75 cms.

Jug length :- 10 cms.(from outer lip to outer handle).

Bowl width :- 12.75 cms. (to outside of handle outers.

Bowl diameter :- 7.5 cms.

Bowl height :- 5.75 cms. (highest point).

Declaration
