Pair of Reclining Leather Armchairs C.1920.

Description

Superb pair of reclining leather armchairs c.1920. In the 18th.c. style, with wing backs and straight arms with shaped fronts over sprung seats with loose cushions. Upholstered in olive green leather with long tassel braid and oversized brass studs. Raised on heavy solid oak legs and stretchers with chamfered corners. Unusually the backs of the chairs are hinged and can be reclined and locked into position with a curving brass ratchet at either side. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
