Description

A very attractive walnut writing slope or lapdesk with Tunbridgeware inlayI.

It has an unmarked brass cartouche to the top which could be engraved with the recipient's name if desired. Also a brass escutcheon to the fully lockable top.

A very clean, gold embossed leather insert to the slope and with two secret drawers.

The whole box beautifully French Polished.
