A Fine Fiddleback Mahogany George III Period Antique Chest on Chest

Description

A fine fiddleback mahogany George III Period antique chest on chest. The upper section with a fine dentil cornice above an arrangement of two short and three long rectangular oak lined drawers with fantastic fiddleback mahogany fronts retaining their original engraved brass swan neck handles and with reeded canted corners. The lower section having three rectangular oak lined drawers again with the original hardware and canted corners, solid mahogany sides and supported on original shaped ogee bracket feet. English circa 1780

Dimensions: 46" wide x 68" high x 23" deep

Condition: This chest on chest is in excellent original condition, a superb colour and patination. One old repair to the left had side of the base.
