Description

A very handsome Victorian inkwell, which would look right at home in a Grand Scottish Lodge, in the form of a Stag.

The antlers act as a pen rest for one or more dip pens (see photo - pen not included in this sale). The hinged lid opens to reveal a brass liner to hold the ink.

The Stag retains his wonderful original glass eyes and gilded finish. A wonderful addition to any desk-top in excellent condition.

The base measures 4 1/4" x 4" and stands 8" to tallest point.
