Description

A very good burr walnut linen press in the queen Anne style. Of good construction in walnut, with attractive burr walnut veneers. The double domed top is decorated with carved , scrolling detailing and surmounted by carved crest. The twin doors (lockable, key supplied) open to access a fitted interior. There are a pair of drawers beneath providing further storage capacity. This press offers a good deal of storage space in a fairly compact unit. It stands on carved squat cabriole legs. We have had this item sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition. It has a lovely mellow colour and patina and is ready to go straight into the home. It breaks down into 3 sections for ease of transportation and installation.
