Regency Rosewood & Brass Inlaid Fold Over Games Table C.1820.

Description

Beautiful Regency era fold over games table c.1820. Stands flat against the wall as an elegant console or side table, or turn and open the top to make a useful square table for four with a baize for playing surface for cards etc and a small storage space below. Well figured rosewood veneers with inlaid brass stringing and fretwork panels to the top and front. Raised on a turned column and four shaped legs with quality cast brass mounts and feet with original brass castors. Lovely mellow colour and excellent condition, with some minor repairs to the top. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
