Victorian Mahogany Desk Chair

Description

A handsome antique mahogany open armchair or desk chair dating from the early Victorian period. The curved oblong top-rail and carved crossbar above a stuff-over seat on turned front legs. The seat has been newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. Very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Very solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. An old mend to the back of the top rail (see photo).
