Antique Early Victorian Ghesso & Gilt French Fauteuil Arm Chair C1850

Description

This is a superb original and early victorian french ghesso & gilt fauteuil armchair and dating from aorund 1840-50. It has its original ghesso and cream paintwork with gilded edging. It has a lovely shaped back with beautifully scrolled arms and stands on carved cabriole legs on original castors. It has its original horsehair upholstery and is covered in a lovely velvet flock fabric in very good condition.

Measures: 38" high X seat height 16" X 28" deep X 26" wide
