Description

An early French carriage clock. A rococo style cast case with a large glass top aperture. A finely engraved gilt dial masking to the circular enamel dial. 'Signed to the dial 'Henry Et Cie, Paris' with trefoil blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell and signed to the backplate. A well designed original escapement. The original travelling box. Circa 1850.
