French Boulle Bracket Clock

Description

A high quality French boulle mantel clock on an original matching wall bracket. Fine brass inlays to the tortoiseshell and ormolu cast case mounts. An opening front glazed door with original key and arched glass side panels. A cast dial with individual enamel numeral cartouches. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Signed to the backplate by noted makers Leroy of Paris. Circa 1885.
