Description

A 19th Century Boiled Leather Bucket. The leather strap handle, with ring loops, above a body of cylindrical shape. The rim with a metal banding. The body tapering downward and inward to a splayed circular foot. The rim, body, foot and strap handle all riveted, the body and handle painted with the dark red van dyke of The Honourable Artillery Company, (H.A.C).

Date c 1850.
