Antique 1914 Waltham Half Hunter Pocket Watch

Antique 1914 Waltham half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped A.W.W.Co, Waltham Mass and it also has the serial number 19502263 which dates it back to 1914. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was originally guaranteed to wear 20 years . This case has blue Roman numerals to the front cover. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" but overall it is in nice condition. The case back has monogrammed initials.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The inner lens is plastic and is in nice condition. The white enamel dial is signed Waltham and is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed … with conventional hands, it would be impossible to tell which hand was which through the small lens.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
