A Stylish Edwardian Silver Lidded Preserve Jar.

Description

A stylish Edwardian preserve jar with silver lid. The glass body features a star but base and wrythen cutting. The lip is undulated and this is replicated in the fully hallmarked silver lid which is gilded to the interior and features a delightful shaped wirework handle. A practical and decorative item.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass and no dents to the silver.

Hallmarks :- Soft but readable, some loss to the makers mark.
