~ French - Circa 1880 ~
~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled and tested movement, bright and clean original gilding ~~
A superb and unusual gilded brass table Gothic clock set by the famous maker Samuel Marti. It has a beautiful original gild which is bright and clean.
This allows a glimpse of the pendulum swinging within the case. This design is carried over to the matching candelabra which have four branches.

The dial is enamel on copper with a cast brass centre and is complete with original blued steel hands.
The French movement has the Samuel Marti mark on the movement backplate. It is of the highest quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully dismantled, cleaned, inspected and tested by our clockmaker. Pendulum and the main springs have also been replaced. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. Candelabra are slightly distorted. The dial is also excellent with just a faint hairline between the 3 and 4 o'clock.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
