~ French - Circa 1890 ~
~~ Excellent condition, fully working condition ~~
A very decorative and nicely sized antique French clock set.
The front of the clock is fretted which allows a glimpse of the pendulum swinging inside the case. Candelabra have matching bases and urns and have four branch candelabra modelled as entwined foliage.

The dial is enamel on copper with delicate decoration to the centre. It is complete with the original blued steel hands.
The A D Mougin French movement is of the highest quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully dismantled, cleaned, inspected and tested by our clockmaker. Pendulum and bell are replacements. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. There is some minor wear to the surface in places. Candelabra arms are slightly distorted and one arm has a minor break in one place and there is a small crack in one urn. The dial is also in excellent condition with a faint hairline below the 12 o'clock but with no chips or scratches.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
