Handsome Antique English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame by Henry Matthews

Description

A really smart antique English sterling silver picture frame, perfect for a lady or gentleman and a perfect addition to any interior, whether traditional or contemporary.

The shaped frame has a very elegant linear engine turned decoration with a circular central cartouche to the top and all four corners have a lovely raised detail.

The back and folding easel stand are made from Oak and the aperture is glazed to protect your cherished photographs. There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1914 making this a true antique example; the makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition, measuring 7 1/4" x 5 1/4" with the aperture measuring 5 1/2" x 3 3/4".
