19th century carved walnut black forest consul table of serpentine form, the swept legs heavily carved with leaves and branches joined with carved stretchers, in the middle of the stretchers is a carved birds nest with two birds with outstretched wings, the top of the legs are joined by serpentine rails carved with leaves, flowers, acorns and a fox’s head, the top is also carved with leaves and flowers, the whole thing is beautifully carved and a glorious colour. Circa 1880.
