Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The outer body painted with a scene of a pagoda temple and a European house, set to either side of a bridge, amongst gardens and landscape, with a lake to the foreground, the rear of the bowl with an island within the lake, above which fly flocks of birds.
The whole raised on a foot rim.
Date c 1750.
Height 4 1/4 inches, diameter 10 3/4 inches.
