Description

Beautiful mid 19th.c. oil on canvas by the English equine artist Joseph Dunn of Worcester (1806 – 1860). A fine black hunter, with spaniel and chestnut mare pictured in a rural landscape with hayricks in the background. Signed in the lower left corner and dated ’58. Presented in original unrestored condition, with some minor surface damage, in the original gilt slip frame.

Dimensions: width 36", depth 1½", height 27".
