Description

An Antique Bedroom or Parlour Chair, circa 1870-1880, of unusual design with upholstered back and sprung seat, covered in a cream coloured watered silk tafetta, upon ring turned supports with castors

These chairs with wide seats were designed to accommodate ladies wide skirts of the period

The chair is in good, solid condition with no lumps to the seat. The upholstery could do with a clean and has a stain to one arm - could be cleaned or re-covered if preferred
