Description

An Unusual Early 19th Century Wall Mirror.

The figured mahogany outer edges, surrounding a bolection profile shaping, carved with leaf and dart decoration following the middle flat element, carved in fine relief with petal heads and flowering leaves, within fence borders, with ebonized and mahogany centred fielded tablets to each corner.

The original bevelled plate, enclosed b a bolection profile gnarled mould slip.

Date c 1810.

Height 21 inches, width 18 inches, depth 1 3/4 inches.
