A Handsome Silver Edwardian Green Satin Lined Box.

Description

A stylish Edwardian silver box . This delightful and practical item is of rectangular form with a hinged lid. The lid is gilded inside and opens to reveal a green satin lined interior being ideal for cufflinks or a jewel box. A splendid gift idea, being both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Very good, with no splits or holes. There are a couple of minor surface blemishes and a slight dent to the top right hand corner of the lid (shown in photo). All commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Very soft but readable. Full set to body and matching part set to lid.

Maker :- A & J Zimmerman.

Date :- Birmingham 1905.
