An Art Deco Handsome Silver Gravy Boat.

A handsome silver gravy or sauce boat dating from the Art Deco period. The lovely and practical example is of good gauge silver and has a raised pedestal foot. The handle is looped and reeded. The body has a reeded rim. Gravy or sauce boats are often rather small and not very practical, but this is a good example of useful proportions.
