Arts & Crafts Oak Hall Seat C.1895

Description

Superb late 19th.c. oak Arts and Crafts hall seat c.1895. Standing 82" tall, shaped top with plate shelf over two open niches either side of a locking cupboard with original convex green glass panels in the door and brass handle. Bevelled mirror plate below. Over a bench seat with arms and unusual shaped and pierced sides and backsplats. Loose seat pad upholstered in a well chosen Liberty & Co. print. Some minor tarnish to the mirror and a few marks to the seat fabric, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned and polished in our workshops, key supplied.
