Antique 1912 Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique 1912 Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass and it has the serial number 18619195 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was originally guaranteed to wear 10 years. It was made by the Keystone Watch Case Co U.S.A. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" to the front and back covers.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside is a glass lens which is in good condition. The dial is signed Waltham. The dial has a faint hairline crack at 2 o'clock although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
