Irenee Rochard was born on the 16th of January 1906 in Villefranche-sur- Saone (Rhone).
A French artist who worked during the Art Deco years, producing wonderful animalier sculptures. She worked mainly in spelter but did produce some bronzes.
She won numerous prizes and distinctions. She was highly regarded by her fellow artists for her exceptional and skilled work.
