Description

Late 19th.c. terracotta keystone c.1895 salvaged from the top of an arch or doorway. Beautifully modelled in the form of a young female angel with feathered wings in high relief behind a scrolling cartouche. Some obvious damage to the front unfortunately affecting the nose and hairline.
