Description

A small mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period mahogany bookcase by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. The upper section with a fine marquetry ribbon and swag inlaid panel, trailing harebells and an adjustable shelf. The lower section with two rectangular doors with flame veneered shaped panels with chequer band inlaid detail. Having solid mahogany sides and supported on square tapering supports. Stamped S,P&B to the locks. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 52" high x 25" wide x 11" deep (shelves 9" deep)

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
