Description

Lovely little late 19th.c. giltwood sofa c.1895. Just over four feet wide, perfect for a window bay or the end of a bed perhaps. Covered in a striking teal velvet with a shaped backrest and arms over a sprung seat with shaped front edge. Carved and gilded frame with flower heads and scrolling detail. Very good condition, retaining the original gilding attractively worn and mellowed with age. Clean covers.
