The carved pediment in the form of an eagle alighting on a rocky outcrop. The eagle and rocks flanked by a pair of mythical sea beasts.
The original convex plate held within a reeded slip. The base of the mirror with carved leaf decoration, and the flanks of the frame with a pair of upward scrolled sconces, twisting toward the glass petal shaped drip pans and brass candle holders.
Date c 1820.
Height 32 inches, width 19 inches, depth 6 inches.
