Description

Pretty iron and brass Victorian low end bedstead c1890; these early all iron beds are now very rare.

This a super single at 3’6” x 6’3” which is a lovely size to have room for teddies and books or for very comfortable adult sleeping.

Very sturdy construction with side rails strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. Hand finished in Little Greene paint company paint colour ……….

We can supply hand made bases and mattresses in all comfort choices at this size.

The details in the castings of this bedstead are particularly attractive and have a delicate and intricate feel in spite of being very sturdy and long lasting.
