Pinefinders has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The bottom section has four little drawers, with white porcelain knobs, running vertically down the middle with cupboards either side of them. All the doors are hung on the original external hinges allowing them to open fully, a very useful feature when taking things in and out of the cupboards. A lovely piece of furniture with plenty of storage.
It has been recently stripped to the bare wood and it now ready for wax polishing or painting.
