LVS Decorative Arts has dated this Victorian Mahogany Leather Armchair to the 1890s.

The chair uprights lead down to the arms which have padded armrests with turned supports.
The back and seat are upholstered in original brown leather fixed with dome studs. The leather does have a worn appearance but I feel this adds to the character of the piece.

The front legs are turned and the back legs are of splay design terminating with brass and porcelain castors.
This design of chair was typically produced by C & R Light, one of the larger wholesale furniture makers in London in the late 19th-early 20th centuries. They were based in Curtain Road, Shoreditch & this area was the hub of the International furniture trade at this time.

This piece is in good original condition, is of stable construction and could be used as it is or could also be re-upholstered by the purchaser.
