Antique English Sterling Silver Jewellery Box - Reynold's Angels - 1903

Description

A stunning Edwardian sterling silver jewellery or trinket box standing on four beautiful foliate feet.

The sides are decorated with pretty intertwining garlands and the top with a repousse panel of the famous Reynold's Angels scene.

The lid fits well and once opened, reveals a lavishly gilded interior and an emerald green velvet pad to the bottom.

There is a full hallmark for Birmingham 1903, Edwardian in era together with the makers initials for Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition measuring 3" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4".
