Stylish English Sterling Silver Box by Alexander Clark - 1921

Description

A very elegant and stylish English sterling silver jewelry or trinket box, a good weight, made from a good gauge of silver.

The shaped box stands on four original Fleur-de-Lys legs and has an attractive raised border to the the lid. Once opened, the interior reveals a lavishly gilded lid and the original velvet lining.

The underside is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1921 together with the makers mark for Alexander Clarke and Co.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/4" x 2" x 1 1/4" tall.
