Description

A gents 1950s boxed Roamer Super-Shock wrist watch.

The watch has a signed hand-winding movement, an MST 372 which came into production in 1944, and it is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the rather stylish lugs. The case is gold plated with 20 microns of plate. There is a small amount of wear along the angled edge by the winding crown but not too noticeable at all to the naked eye, overall the condition is good. The stainless steel screw-on case back is signed with the Roamer name, and it also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds sweep and a ring of minute markers. There is some marking to the hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage Roamer presentation box.
