Antique Regency Mahogany Window Seat Stool

Description

Very elegant antique Regency mahogany window seat in good condition, with a lovely fabric on the seat. I believe it dates to around the 1810-20 period & it has a lot of character. There are various markings & one small old repair, but all in keeping with the wood that's nearly 200 years old. I'm fairly sure this item has been reconstructed, possibly from two chairs but either way this is a wonderful item & very useful. I particularly like the pineapple shaped slats between the uprights.
