A French four glass mantel clock. An enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands. A visible 'Brocot' escapement with jewelled pallets. A brass case with bevelled glass panels. A mercury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism by Samuel Marti, Paris striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1890.
