Rare Silver Mounted Bookmark 1912

Description

This very unusual SILVER MOUNTED BOOKMARK was made in 1912. The silver mount encloses two bone or ivory blades which fit onto the page top to mark your place. The bookmark has a sterling silver mount that has been wonderfully decorated with flowers and scrolls. The silver mount has not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram. This rare and unusual book or page marker would make a superb addition to any collection or a gift that can still be used today.
