The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co, U.S.A, 15 jewels and it has the serial number 10743341 which dates it back to 1903. This movement was only made for 2 years 1903 - 1904
The watch measures 49.2 mm diameter excluding the stem and loop. The gold filled case has a screw-on bezel and case back.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is enamel and it is signed Elgin and has red minute markers to the outer chapter ring. The dial has a faint hairline crack between 6 o'clock and the centre although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
