Description

A splendid burr walnut bookcase, or side cabinet, in the Queen Anne style. Of good quality construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The central cupboard door is of bow fronted form and decorated with a carved crest, it opens to reveal a shelved interior. The two end cabinet doors are also decorated and open to access shelved interiors. All doors are lockable and keys are supplied. The top is decorated with a gadrooned edging and the whole bookcase stands on squat carbriole legs with further carved detailing. We have had this splendid bookcase sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It has a lovely mellow colour and patina and is offered for sale in excellent overall condition, ready to go straight into the home.
