An Antique Silver Fusee Pocket Watch with Chain

An antique silver fusee pocket watch with chain.

The watch has a fusee (chain driven) movement which is working nicely. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Chester 1892. The front of the case is in good condition while there is some unevenness to the back, but not too detrimental.

If the back cover is opened, there is an engraving with the name of a previous owner, Mr Heath, dated 1899.

The watch has a nice thick glass which is in good condition, just a couple of light scratches.

The white enamel dial has a couple of hairline cracks to the number ring, and a couple to the subsidiary seconds dial and just above, but they are faint. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a plated single albert which measures 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
